StreetStrong MD Kieran Cato’s introduction to the construction industry began at 15, working alongside his father in his own construction company. Those early years were formative, providing him with a robust understanding of the construction trade. From manual labor to learning the intricacies of site operations, Kieran formulated a solid foundation for what was to become StreetStrong.

Transitioning from general labouring to a more strategic role within the business, Kieran returned to the company, in his late 20’s, this time focusing on the asphalt division. Here, he took on management responsibilities, overseeing projects, coordinating teams, and ensuring that operations ran smoothly. This role allowed him to blend his practical knowledge with managerial skills, leading to significant contributions to the company’s growth and success.

These formative years were instrumental in honing his skills and understanding of the trade. Years later, when Kieran established his own business CATO Location Services, and later StreetStrong, he was able to seamlessly integrate these learned skills and insights into his business.
