These nominations celebrate the organisation’s innovation, resilience, leadership, and commitment to sustainability within the construction industry.
The Sydney Business Awards recognise and honour businesses that drive economic growth, create local jobs, and contribute to the well-being of communities across the North, South, Eastern Sydney, and CBD. StreetStrong’s multi-category recognition highlights both it’s operational excellence and long term commitment to sustainability.
Our dedication to quality and innovation is at the heart of everything we do. From upskilling our team to uphold rigorous safety standards, to achieving Local Government Procurement (LGP) certification, we prioritise both compliance and excellence in delivery. Our team’s expertise in leading technologies such as StreetBond, StreetPrint, and Duratherm ensures exceptional outcomes on every project.
Safety remains paramount. We have invested in traffic calming solutions to enhance safety for all road users and reduce accidents. Through our partnership with BioDotDotDot, we introduced Australia’s first environmentally friendly photoluminescent markings, combining innovation with sustainability to enhance public safety.
Building on our carbon-neutral status of 2022, StreetStrong continues to champion sustainability. Our investment in electric vehicles reduces our environmental footprint, while pilot projects with councils using solar-reflective coatings tackle the Urban Heat Island Effect, making urban spaces cooler and more liveable.
StreetStrong proudly contributes to government initiatives, including the Transport for NSW Safer Cities: Her Way pilot program, helping create safer and more accessible public spaces for everyone.
Building on our carbon-neutral status of 2022, we continue to reduce emissions across all areas of operation and embed sustainability into every layer of our business.
Over the past year, we’ve invested in two electric vehicles, accelerating the transition of our fleet and supporting both emissions reduction and operational sustainability. Our team plays a central role in driving these initiatives, ensuring that impactful environmental outcomes are achieved through engagement, collaboration, and shared responsibility.
We are also exploring sustainable asphalt alternatives, recognising the opportunity to reduce the carbon impact of surface coatings, which are used on over 95% of roads globally. By integrating sustainability into our operations, StreetStrong has not only improved efficiency and reduced costs but has also built a more resilient, future-focused business that continues to grow while making a measurable environmental impact.
