StreetBond™: Product, Process, Application, Benefits and Sustainability.

What is StreetBond™?

StreetBond™ is a premium coloured asphalt coating that rejuvenates and enhances urban surfaces. Engineered with cutting-edge polymer, cement, and epoxy technologies, this high-performance StreetBond™ coating is designed to withstand varying weather conditions and heavy traffic loads. Its anti-slip properties make it an excellent choice for high-footfall areas, ensuring pedestrian safety while delivering a striking aesthetic.

How To Install StreetBond™?

Installations are performed by Licensed StreetBond™ Applicators, trained and certified for this specialised technology.

The application process begins with thorough surface preparation, ensuring the asphalt or concrete is clean and dry. A primer may be applied to enhance adhesion before the StreetBond™ coating is mixed and applied using specialised sprayers or rollers. The coating consists of a two-component system: a base, curing agent, and aggregate. Once applied, it cures rapidly to form a durable, skid-resistant, and flexible surface that adapts to the natural expansion and contraction of the substrate.

Why StreetBond™?

Skid Resistance – StreetBond™ meets and exceeds State Road Authority standards for skid resistance, making it ideal for pedestrian-heavy zones.

Enhanced Visibility – Bright, UV-stable pigments provide clear lane demarcation, improving safety for all road users.

Durability – Adapts to asphalt expansion and contraction, preventing cracks, peeling, or delamination.

Long Lasting – Resistant to wear from heavy traffic, water damage, and harsh environmental conditions.

Chemical Resistant – Withstands exposure to fuel, engine oil, and de-icing agents without deterioration.

Recyclable – Coated asphalt and concrete surfaces remain fully recyclable, supporting sustainable urban development.

Low Maintenance – When combined with DuraTherm™, reduces maintenance liabilities and repainting costs.

Efficient Installation – Simple and quick application minimises disruption to traffic and the community.
